Upgrades aren’t always as simple as they should be. The Windows 10 update was supposed to be as free of worry as it is free of charge, but it hasn’t been easy to do a fresh installation, and some people have had trouble getting the OS to activate. Microsoft has been telling users to reinstall their old OS, then update again — hardly an efficient solution.
